OUR STORY

The Hearth and The Harrow came to light from a collective love for roots, country, blues and bluegrass music. A trio based out of Halifax, NS, The Hearth and The Harrow (H & H) is a wonderful three part harmony sound driven by the songwriting of Brandon Miller Davis, who came as a late addition to the trio; the beautiful voice of Nichole Campbell Wilson; and the old school 'master of ceremonies' flair of Peter Wilson, that molds the three individuals into a well produced roots musical experience.

After cultivating genuine friendships over five years, and the realization of their shared love for the roots genre, it seemed only the natural progression for the trio to share that love for music and their ability to entertain with others. The groups music appeals to all - new found fans of blues, bluegrass, and country to those folks who have been listening to it for years and have found they too are from the truest of roots music traditions.

What sets H & H apart? At the very heart of The Hearth and The Harrow is friendship. Brothers and sisters on stage, smiling, laughing, singing, and creating memories at each stage of their careers. Brandon writes with such knowledge of life; Pete’s songwriting comes from a place of days gone by and Nichole's songwriting brings fourth a sense of truth and clarity. Put that altogether and you get “The Hearth and The Harrow.”
